I used Tim's Mini Ink Blending Tool, distress inks and a stencil to create the butterflies. The shine on the butterflies and heart came from coloring with a Clear Wink of Stella Pen. The Hugs die cut is from Penny Black and the Heart is from an old Sizzix die. I attached the Pretty Pink Posh sequins for some extra bling.

Bird Family

I created this card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  Lions and Lambs, oh my!  I love the "Crazy Bird" stamp set from Tim Holtz. All the images are so fun and I can think of so many different ways to use them. The sentiment stamp is from the Dyan Reavely dylusions stamp set "Christmas Words".

I stamped the images and sentiment with onyx black versafine ink onto Canson 140 lb watercolor paper and embossed it with Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder. I watercolored the images and the ground with distress markers. The rest of the card is shaded in with Stormy Sky distress ink.

I'm also entering this card into the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge #8

For  day #8  of the challenge I colored in this digital Saturated Canary image with Copics on  X-Press blending  paper. I edged the partial circle with Peacock Feathers distress ink. The raindrops are from Cloud 9. The flower is from Prima and so is the patterned paper. The stamped sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp set "Like Your Style".  And the base card is Sea Glass from Simon Says Stamp that I won as blog candy.

The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge Day 3

I didn't make time for day 2. Shame on me it's only 10 minutes. For day 3 of the
The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge I colored in images from some of my New Lawn Fawn stamp sets. Again I didn't do a lot of blending because the images are so small.

After I die cut the images I will add some finishing touches to them.
I plan to use the die cuts for cardmaking.

I hope you join in on the coloring challenge; the link is above.

Thank you for visiting and your comments.

Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

I'm participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

For day one of the challenge I stamped and colored some new Lawn Fawn images from  sets that I recently purchased. I used my copic markers for coloring.

I didn't do a lot of blending as the images are so small. It was a lot of fun experimenting with different color choices. I just love these stamp sets.

Here are the pictures from day one.

I'll be die cutting the images for cards. After I place them on cards I'll add to them wink of stella, glossy accents and other details.

This is quite a fun challenge.  I hope you are already participating and if not I hope you join in.
The link is at the top of my page.
